1998 Comic Sublime

I was at St Marks Church on New Years 1998 and heard the term comic sublime used in a poem.







I was making drawings as I listened all day to the poetry marathon they have. The elongated dimension was thinking about a painting as an altarpiece.

I tried to make these formal again simplifying every thing.
