1982 First shows, Richard Hines, Seattle, and UCEN Gallery , UCSB

Richard Hines in Seattle was just taking down a show of Richard Serra. This next show was a group show of Carl Appfelshnitt, Keith Haring, and David Kapp and Gregory Botts.















At the University gallery, I had the idea I wanted to make a kind of Pompeian installation of my work. I called the show Achilles/ Light.



There was a freeze of drawings along the ceiling, and abstract panels of stripes along with drawings and paintings.
